Під кобо без флешки є своя модернізована програма XcSoar яка ставиться без проблем. Стандартна непоставитьсяjust copy this file http://forum.xcsoar.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1371&start=50#p9818 to hidden .kobo folder on usbstorage.!

I have trouble getting it to log.I've tried to start the logger automatically or when a start is detected, I don't get any IGC file.I've also tried to start the logger manually after I get the GPS fix and a valid task loaded. The logger wouldn't start.Any ideas?Cheers!MoldovanE Posts: 3Joined: Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:49 amTopRe: Kobo touch installPostby MoldovanE » Fri Mar 20, 2015 7:37 amFound the issue. If there is no folder called "logs" in XCSoarData, the logger fails to start. My folder was with a capital L.MoldovanE Posts: 3Joined: Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:49 amTopRe: Kobo touch installPostby PB2000 » Sun Mar 22, 2015 10:18 pmSince I still have not found the time to post proper patch, here is the "ugly" version of xcsoar for original kobo touch (N905).changes are:/opt/xcsoar/bin/rcS - issue when kobo freeze at start (cannot init display, SegFault)/opt/xcsoar/bin/KoboMenu - change interface name to wlan0 (wifi is working now)you can download form my server:http://rbf.nanodesign.sk/public/horinek/KoboRoot.tgzPB2000 Posts: 12Joined: Sun Mar 23, 2014 5:59 pmTopRe: Kobo touch installPostby mryeelim » Fri Apr 03, 2015 7:18 amHi, Now that there is (almost) a patch for the original N905,Is anyone working on an OTG kernel for it?mryeelim Posts: 59Joined: Sun Sep 16, 2012 11:41 amTopRe: Kobo touch install(bluefly)Postby Scubadesflier » Fri Apr 03, 2015 10:36 amNot sure if this is considered "off topic", if so apologies as I can't find another thread. I have a Kobo Touch (905b) and want to use Xcsoar with the Bluefly vario/gps module. Having read elsewhere that only one of the serial connections can be wired, I need to identify which one to use. Any pointers to appropriate threads/ circuit board photos would be very much appreciated.Scubadesflier Posts: 1Joined: Wed Apr 01, 2015 4:56 pmTopRe: Kobo touch installPostby AndRand » Mon May 11, 2015 11:05 amPB2000 wrote:Here is the pinout for the uart on /dev/ttymxc0VCC is 3.3V and is active only when the device is onV_BAT is direct connection to Li-ion battery ~4.2V maxCan you show how did you connect to those pins?AndRand Posts: 1Joined: Mon May 11, 2015 11:02 amTopRe: Kobo touch install(bluefly)Postby martinkopplow » Mon May 11, 2015 2:34 pmScubadesflier wrote:Not sure if this is considered "off topic", if so apologies as I can't find another thread. The serial port you want is opposite the internal SD, on the right side.MartinData for Panels and Instruments: Segelfliegers_Einrichtungshausmartinkopplow Posts: 774Joined: Sun Jul 28, 2013 3:03 pmTopRe: Kobo touch installPostby petgabo » Fri May 22, 2015 9:05 amDear PB2000!Thanks for your patch, I'm using it with my Kobo Touch N905.I still have a problem: the Kobo freeze often (mostly in power off period, never in fly mode). It is very difficult, to solve this freezing. There are no reaction to home button, power button, or reset button.Do you have the same problems too?Any advice?Waiting for your answer.Thanks.Gaborpetgabo Posts: 1Joined: Fri May 22, 2015 8:55 amTopRe: Kobo touch installPostby chomic » Fri Jun 12, 2015 6:09 amDear PB2000!Thank you very much . I already though, that it was waste of money. With your support it started N905.as I understood , you have only GPS connected, but not baro. What is your opinion, is it possible to connect baro sensor or get data's from vario or android phone via wifi, what you think.BRg,Chomicchomic Posts: 3Joined: Fri Oct 18, 2013 12:45 pmTopKOBO model A installPostby xyray » Wed Jul 29, 2015 11:10 amHello,to use my Kobo A for XCSoar I have back-upped the firmware according to http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212474Although the file size of 2GB seems to make sense, with Diskinternal's Linux Reader I however was not able to verify its contents because I get only cryptic signs. Does anybody know how encoding / mode setting has to be chosen for Linux?Main problem however: There exist 2 successful ways to get model A running XCSoar. I have the installation files of StratosII http://filr.compliance-it.de/ssf/s/rea%20...%20boRoot.tgz and PB2000 http://rbf.nanodesign.sk/public/horinek/KoboRoot.tgz which differ considerably in size (73 MB vs. 4MB). Even after reading their posts more than twice I have not really understood what is going on (I am not a computer professional - :-(So, does anybody know how to get the correct file into the Kobo A root?Last question: is it possible to use GPS over OTG – USB in this configuration? It has been done for model C...Any help would be greatly appreciatedRichardxyray Posts: 14Joined: Wed Apr 15, 2015 10:25 amTop
